Best Breakfasts in Addison

They say the early bird catches the worm, but here in Addison, the early bird captures the best breakfast. We like to get moving early here - and play late - and to keep up that busy schedule we have to fuel with some fabulous morning munchies. Here are just a few of the best breakfasts in Addison.

Snooze, an AM Eatery
5100 Belt Line Road #824
972-360-8990

Snooze is a throwback to old school diners but with a modern twist! They like to say, "It's breakfast, but different." They take classic breakfast dishes and put their own unique spin on them. With a full drink menu from specialty coffees to mimosa and bloody mary's, they will make you realize 8am is the new 5pm! Insider tip: You can mix and match the restaurant's seven different bennies (for you newbies, that's short for benedict!).

Benedict's
4800 Belt Line Road
972-450-0500

Benedict's has been an Addison staple for over 30 years, and once you visit, it's easy to understand why. The restaurant offers nearly a dozen unique and tasty omelet options. Our favorite - the light and fluffy Bistro omelet. It's made with goat cheese and filled with smoked salmon, diced tomatoes, cucumber, chives, and savory herbs. Topped with Hollandaise sauce, this dish is a fan favorite!

Astoria Wine Bar & Caffe
15701 Quorum Drive
972-239-5853

Wine bar for breakfast? Yes! Especially if it's Addison Circle's Astoria Wine Bar & Caffe. Their tasty breakfast paninis are each soulful and delicious. Authentic Italian coffees are individual works of art. The Tuxedo Mocha features Lavazza espresso carefully blended with steamed milk, white and dark chocolates, and topped with whipped cream. Insider tip - try the Croiffle. It's a croissant with a waffle and it's delicious.

Duck Donuts
3765 Belt Line Road
469-206-3649

Looking to grab and go for a quick breakfast? Look no further than Duck Donuts. Each season, Duck Donuts crafts a selection of seasonal specialties, and their regular menu is full of favorites, too. We love the salty, sweet goodness of the Maple Bacon. And we celebrate our inner Girl Scout every time we nosh on a S'Mores donut. They'll even craft a special 'Duck Dozen' just for you!

La Spiga
4203 Lindbergh Drive
972-934-8730

No one expects to find an elegant Italian bakery and café tucked into a business park adjoining the airport, but that's what Donato and Carolyn Milano envisioned 25 years ago when they opened La Spiga. In addition to providing artisan breads to some of North Texas' finest restaurants, La Spiga has an intimate café where the Milanos share not only their spectacular muffins, danishes, croissants, and scones, but also a full range of gourmet coffees and other breakfast offerings.
