Tickets & Admission
Do I need a ticket to attend?
Yes, tickets are required for entry into Addison Circle Park. However, you can also enjoy the show from restaurants, hotels, and watch parties throughout Addison.
Tickets can be purchased online through the official Kaboom Town website.
Is re-entry allowed?
Guests who leave the event and plan to return on the same day must check out with event staff at a designated exit. When guests return to the park, they can enter through any festival entrance with valid credentials. Normal admission screening required.
What is included with my ticket?
Your ticket includes entry into Addison Circle Park, access to live entertainment, food vendors, and the full Kaboom Town experience.
Are tickets refundable?
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable.
What happens if tickets sell out?
Once tickets are sold out, no additional tickets will be released. You can still enjoy Kaboom Town from watch parties, restaurants, and hotels across Addison.
Good to Know
Is this a family-friendly event?
Yes! Attendees of all ages are welcome to enjoy the festivities.
A variety of free and fee-based activities and attractions are offered throughout the festival.
The Infant Care Lounge, which offers a baby changing and feeding station, is located in the center of the festival grounds.
What can I bring?
Items ALLOWED
- Purses, handbags, diaper bags, and medium backpacks. All bags will be searched, please leave these items at home to avoid delayed entry.
- Strollers, children's wagons, and wheelchairs.
- Personal umbrellas not to exceed 50" in diameter.
- Blankets.
- Empty reusable water bottles.
- Collapsible lawn chairs.
- Small portable radios.
- Medically-Necessary Supplies. Must be in prescription packaging with photo ID.
Items NOT ALLOWED
- NO COOLERS
- NO outside food and beverage
- NO pop-up tents or shade structures of any size.
- NO large bags.
- NO over-sized chairs or lawn/household furniture
- NO pets, emotional support or other animals. Service animals are permitted.
- NO outside alcohol beverages.
- NO open flames or grills.
- NO laser pointers.
- NO fireworks or explosives.
- NO drones.
- NO computers or laptops.
- NO illegal substances.
- NO bicycles, skates, scooters, or skateboards.
All patrons entering Addison Circle Park will go through a strict screening process. You will be asked to get rid of any prohibited items. Addison DOES NOT provide a check station for holding personal items.
Are pets allowed?
NO pets are allowed. Only service animals will be permitted. The tasks performed by the service animal must be directly related to the person's disability. All service animals must remain on a leash or harness and may not be left unattended. Emotional support animals are not permitted.

What are the video and photo policies?
Video surveillance cameras are used in Addison Circle Park.
An official event photographer will be taking photos during the event.
Patrons attending the event may be pictured in event marketing.
While cell phones and personal cameras (no external lenses, attachments or tripods) are permitted, attendees may not record music performances.
Weather & Safety
What happens if it rains?
Addison Kaboom Town!® is a rain-or-shine event.
Is there a storm shelter?
The storm shelter for extreme weather can be found in the parking garage next to Festival Headquarters (4943 Addison Cir).
What happens if my child gets separated from me?
At our events there are no lost kids only lost parents. This area will include a tag for Kaboom Town's smallest attendees to stay safe!
The system makes it easier to return a separated child to their Lost Parent.
Is there a lost and found?
During event hours, a lost and found is located at the Information Booth on the north side of the park near Addison Circle.
After hours, please contact the Addison Police Department at pdrecords@addisontx.gov with your name, contact number, and a description of the lost item.
Viewing & Shows
When and where is the fireworks show?
The fireworks will be launched at approximately 9:30pm on July 3rd.
Fireworks are launched from the south end of the Addison Airport runway, west of Addison Circle Park.
Addison Circle Park offers the full festival experience, but you can also enjoy great views from hotels, restaurants, and watch parties across town.
When and where is the air show?
Enjoy flyovers by historic warbirds and other unique planes, specialty stunt displays, parachute jumpers, and more at 7:30pm.
Planes will take off from the Addison Airport and follow a flight path that is visible throughout Addison and neighboring areas.
The best viewing will be from restaurant and hotel watch parties along Belt Line Road and the Dallas North Tollway!
Are fireworks visible outside the park?
Yes! The fireworks are designed to be seen from across Addison, including nearby restaurants, hotels, and open areas.
Food, Drinks, & Watch Parties
Are food and drink available?
Yes, there will be numerous food and beverage vendors on site.
Addison no longer sells Tasty Bucks (food coupons/tickets). All food and beverage vendors will accept direct payment, including credit/debit card and Tasty Bucks from previous years (Addison Tasty Bucks never expire).
** No coolers or outside food and beverages are allowed in the festival.**
Can I bring outside food and drinks?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted inside the park.
What is a watch party?
Addison's restaurant and hotel community hosts special watch parties offering spectators a unique viewing experience with live music, food specials, and more.
Watch Parties will be added to the website as they are received.
How can I host a watch party?
Addison establishments wishing to host an official Kaboom Town Watch Party must obtain a Special Temporary Event Permit from the Environmental Health Division.
Parking & Traffic
What should I expect for traffic?
Arriving early is highly recommended to secure parking and enjoy the full event experience.
The popularity of Addison Kaboom Town!® may cause some traffic delays. Spectators are encouraged to remain at their viewing location to avoid delays.
Please be patient and courteous to other Kaboom Town!® fans, and follow our hardworking Police Department for a smooth exit.

The popularity of the Addison Kaboom Town! fireworks show may cause some traffic delays, specifically following the fireworks show.
Accessibility & Amenities
Are the events wheelchair accessible?
Addison strives to make Addison Circle Park as ADA-Friendly as possible, but not all areas are easily accessible with a wheelchair or stroller. Please be aware that much of the park is natural terrain, with uneven surfaces and the potential for mud. Accessible restrooms are available throughout the park.

There is a limited number of accessible parking spaces at this location, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
In addition, accessible parking is available in the three free parking garages listed above.
