Watch the festival's fastest dachshunds race down the Partyhalle track in one of Addison Oktoberfest's most anticipated events. Competitors will sprint toward the finish line for a chance to earn The Golden Dachshund title—and the honor of wearing the coveted crown for the next year. Participation is free, but advanced online registration is required

Strut Your Stuff
Not a dachshund? No problem! The Pet Parade welcomes dogs of all breeds to show off their Oktoberfest style. Dress your pup in their best Bavarian-inspired attire and join fellow pet lovers for a festive parade through the festival grounds.
No advance registration is required. Simply stop by the Java & Hopps Pavilion on parade day to sign up and receive your parade number. Awards will be presented to the first-, second- and third-place costumes, so don't be afraid to get creative!

Looking for a four legged companion? Addison Animal Services will once again be hosting pet adoptions on site on Sunday! Joined by Miles of Hope Animal Rescue, you'll get the opportunity to meet your pawesome match and give them a forever home.
