Bierspiele Stadium

Located next to the Party Zelt, Bierspiele Stadium serves as home base for the Official Addison Oktoberfest Bier Games. The Bier Maiden Stein Carrying challenge, Bier Barrel Rolling and Biergarten Bingo all take place here throughout the festival.

Most paid competitions cost $10 and require onsite registration. All competitors must be at least 21 years old, and participation is limited.

Compete for Prizes and Bragging Rights

Ready to put your Oktoberfest skills to the test? The Addison Oktoberfest Bier Games invite guests ages 21 and older to compete in a series of lively challenges inspired by Bavarian tradition.

Most competitions take place at Bierspiele Stadium, located next to the Party Zelt. Space is limited, so arrive early or register in advance when required.

Bier Maiden Stein Carrying

Stein Maiden Carrying

How many steins can you carry without spilling the goods? Race through the Paulaner Biergarten carrying half-liter glass steins filled with water. Stay in your lane and transfer enough water to fill your bucket to the 10-liter line. The first contestant to fill their bucket wins!

Onsite Registration: $10 | Participant Limit: 8

Register and pay at the Bierspeile Stadium, then check in at the Registration Tent at least 15 minutes before your scheduled competition time.

Participants must be 21 or older, and a valid photo ID will be verified at check-in. Registration fees are nonrefundable, competition times cannot be changed and late arrivals will forfeit their spot.

Bier Barrel Rolling

Bier Barrell Rolling

Pick a partner, stay between the lines and get ready to roll! Teams of two race a Paulaner bier barrel to the finish line and back using only one hand. The barrel and first teammate must completely cross the finish line before the second teammate can begin. The fastest team wins!

Onsite Registration: $10 Per Person | Participant Limit: 8 Teams of Two
