Is there a discount for Addison residents?
Yes! Addison residents can receive 50% off admission tickets to Addison Oktoberfest.
Discounted tickets will be available for purchase at the Addison Athletic Club beginning August 1. The sale ends Wednesday, August 17.
There is a limit of six tickets per household, and proof of Addison residency is required.
Where do I pick up my ticket package?
Attendees shall present tickets at the event to pick up package items. Specific details on pickup location will be provided.
Are tickets refundable?
- Tickets will be refunded in the event of festival cancellation ONLY. In all refund cases, ticket buyers will receive a full refund including the ticket price and any additional fees.
- No ticket exchanges will be issued.

Why is Oktoberfest held in September
Addison Oktoberfest coincides with the opening of the 16-day festival in Munich, Germany. The original celebration began on October 10, 1810 to celebrate the royal wedding of Crown Prince Ludwig of Bavaria and Princess Therese of Saxon-Hildeburghausen. In 1880, the festival was scheduled to start in September so the festival could enjoy more pleasant weather.
Is this a family-friendly event?

How do I purchase food and beverages?
Addison no longer sells Tasty Bucks (food coupons/tickets). All food and beverage vendors will accept direct payment, including credit/debit card and Tasty Bucks from previous years (Addison Tasty Bucks never expire).

What can I bring to the park?
Items ALLOWED
- Personal steins.
- Purses, handbags, diaper bags, and medium backpacks. All bags will be searched, please leave these items at home to avoid delayed entry.
- Strollers, children's wagons, and wheelchairs.
- Personal umbrellas not to exceed 50" in diameter.
- Medically-Necessary Supplies. Must be in prescription packaging with photo ID.
- Empty reusable water bottles.
Items NOT ALLOWED
- NO large bags.
- NO pop-up tents or shade structures of any size.
- NO pets, emotional support or other animals. Service animals are permitted.
- NO outside food or drinks. Food for infants and toddlers is permitted.
- NO illegal substances.
- NO coolers.
- NO bicycles, skates, scooters, or skateboards.
- NO lawn chairs.
- NO laser pointers.
- NO fireworks or explosives.
- NO drones.
All patrons entering Addison Circle Park will go through a strict screening process. You will be asked to get rid of any prohibited items. Addison DOES NOT provide a check station for holding personal items.
Can I bring my pet to Addison Oktoberfest?
Can I bring my pet to Addison Oktoberfest?
Pets are not permitted at Addison Oktoberfest Thursday through Saturday. Only trained service animals are allowed, and the tasks they perform must be directly related to a person’s disability. Emotional support animals are not permitted.
Dogs are welcome on Sunday Hund-Day only. All dogs must remain on a leash or harness, may not be left unattended and must be picked up after. Owners are responsible for properly disposing of all pet waste.

Is the Addison Circle Park wheelchair accessible?
Addison strives to make Addison Circle Park as ADA-Friendly as possible, but not all areas are easily accessible with a wheelchair or stroller. Please be aware that much of the park is natural terrain, with uneven surfaces and the potential for mud. Accessible restrooms are available throughout the park.

There are limited number of accessible parking spaces at this location, available on a first come basis.
In addition, accessible parking is available in the three free parking garages listed above.
What is the photo, video and recording policy at Addison Oktoberfest?
Video surveillance cameras are used throughout Addison Circle Park, and an official event photographer will be taking photos during the festival. By attending, guests may be photographed and featured in future event marketing.
Cell phones and personal cameras are permitted, provided they do not have external lenses, attachments or tripods. Recording live music performances is not allowed.
Where can I find lost items during or after Addison Oktoberfest?
During event hours, Lost & Found is located at the Information Booth on the north side of Addison Circle Park near Addison Circle.
After the event, contact the Addison Police Department at pdrecords@addisontx.gov. Include your name, phone number and a description of the lost item.
Weather and Safety
Where is the storm shelter located?
In the event of severe weather, the designated storm shelter is located in the parking garage next to Festival Headquarters at 4943 Addison Circle.
