The holidays shine a little brighter in Addison! From Nov. 28–Dec. 31, Addison Circle Park transforms into a festive hub of nearly three dozen seasonal events and performances. Whether you’re sipping cocoa under twinkling lights, laughing through a holiday comedy, or enjoying carriage rides through the Circle, there’s something merry waiting for everyone.

Rockin' Around the Circle

 

Get ready for a magical holiday season in Addison Circle District with Rockin’ Around the Circle! This December, the district transforms into a winter wonderland where the whole family can enjoy sparkling lights, seasonal events, and classic holiday fun. Kick off the celebration with a festive tree-lighting ceremony, then stroll through the beautifully decorated park, take in holiday performances at The Addison, and experience a charming carriage ride through the heart of Addison. Come make memories in this cozy, vibrant neighborhood and embrace the spirit of the season.

Each carriage holds up to nine guests, making this a perfect outing for families, friends or a cozy couple’s night. Ticket prices vary depending on group size and time slot — be sure to book early for prime evening rides under the twinkling lights.

Addison Circle Holiday Tree Lighting

Friday, Dec. 5 | 6–8 p.m. | Free

Kick off the season as Addison Circle Park becomes a winter wonderland! Enjoy live music from The Ones, carriage rides through the park, and a glowing Holiday Wish Floating Lantern release over the Water Gardens. Mayor Bruce Arfsten will lead the tree lighting ceremony, where lights dance along to holiday favorites—including the classic “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”
Warm up with cocoa from Mr. Sugar Rush, grab a treat from Waffles O’licious, and snap a free photo with Santa before he heads back to the North Pole!

Vitruvian Lights: Addison’s Sparkling Holiday Tradition

Experience one of North Texas’s most dazzling holiday traditions at Vitruvian Park, where millions of sparkling LED lights transform the trees into a breathtaking winter wonderland. The display kicks off with the Vitruvian Lights Opening Celebration, featuring live entertainment, food trucks, and festive photo ops. Then, all season long, visitors can stroll the illuminated park, sip hot cocoa, and capture unforgettable holiday moments. It’s the kind of sparkle that keeps Addison glowing all December long.
