TOURISM PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT (TPID)

The Addison Tourism Public Improvement District (ATPID) was established in 2025 at the request of local hotels. ATPID revenues are used to fund incentives to encourage organizations to bring large conferences, conventions, and meetings to Addison, enhance marketing and incentive programs to increase hotel stays within the Town

The ATPID comprises all hotel properties within the City of Dallas with at least 60 rooms. The ATPID collections are based on a 2% assessment of total room rentals from participating hotels.

The current ATPID term runs until September 30, 2034, with the annual budget and assessment rate subject to a public hearing and approval by the Addison City Council.
