This February 22, we have some pretty strong opinions about where you should be. And those places are serving some of the best margaritas in Addison, because February 22 is National Margarita Day! We’ve gathered some of our favorite local watering holes where you can find a well made, traditional margarita, and even some less traditional options that will redefine your margarita experience. ¡SALUD!

This not-so-little taco shop was the second location opened after the Downtown Dallas patio proved to be a crowd favorite. Their favorite is the margarita that comes with a deliciously spicy rim. Ringing in at just $3.75, you can order it frozen or on “las rocas.”  PRO TIP: Order your tacos to go and enjoy a marg while you wait! (Don’t drink and drive… duh.)

This Latin go-to has served happy hour and late-night patrons well since 1986, and it’s not just because they serve a delicious bean dip with their chips. While their house margarita is a winner (and is just $6 during happy hour), we’d encourage you to branch out and try some of their other takes on the traditional margarita like the Fresh Guava Margarita (Herradura Silver Tequila, fresh guava, Grand Marnier, orange juice and agave nectar) or the Blush Margarita (Ambhar Platinum Tequila, Solerno Blood Orange Liqueur, lime juice and agave nectar).

OK… I’ll say it, don’t sleep on Chili’s, y’all. They offer up a new featured margarita every month, and they offer it for just five bucks! The January feature was the Cheers to Patrón (Patrón Silver, triple sec, fresh sour, sugar, and citrus), and we’re not above begging them to bring it back. Since the Addison Chili’s is the longest-serving Chili’s in the world (believe it), stop in for a margarita and some nostalgia.

Blue Mesa Grill, the home of one of the best happy hours in Addison, is also the home of one of our go-to margs. Stop in this week during happy hour to get their Classic Blue margarita for just $5 and you can enjoy a free quesadilla bar to get warmed up for National Margarita Day!

Cantina Laredo

This longtime favorite (and the concept’s first location) serves up authentic Mexican cuisine … and some Tex-Mex-leaning favorites. Sidle up to their bar and chat with them about the 40+ tequilas they can use to make you a fantastic margarita. Looking to try something a little different? They have 11 signature margaritas available anytime, and a new addition, the Flora 'Rita (Hornitos Tequila Silver, blood orange syrup, lime, and butterfly pea flower tea), that will make your NMD celebration Insta-worthy thanks to its striking colors.
