Here is How Addison Hotels Are Keeping You Safe

Marriot Hotel Room

We are thrilled to be bringing back all the Addison events that you know and love this year. Taste Addison, Oktoberfest, Kaboom Town, and Addison After Dark will look a little different as we keep the safety and health of everyone in mind, but that does not stop the fun.

Giving us an extra hand in creating the safest experience possible is our Addison hotels. Read below to see how our hotel partners have stepped up during this time to put your mind at ease as you prepare to book your upcoming stay in Addison.

An Expanding Commitment to Cleanliness

The traditional deep cleaning has been taken up a notch in many Addison hotels. The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dallas North-Addison deep cleans and sanitizes every room with hospital-grade disinfectants. At the Hilton Garden Inn Addison, guests will find the Hilton Clean Stay seal on their room doors to assure them that the dedicated house cleaning staff has cleaned and disinfected their room before their arrival.

Following all CDC Guidelines

The best way to ensure a safe stay for all guests is a commitment to following the guidelines handed down by the Center for Disease Control. Throughout various Addison hotels including the Marriott Quorum Dallas Addison By The Galleria, guests will find floor markers placed at the front desk, cafes, elevators, and restaurants to designate the required social distancing. If you choose to stay at the Radisson Dallas North-Addison, masks are required in all public areas. There have been updates to common amenities to still make them accessible but safe. These changes include grab-and-go breakfast, reduced capacity in the fitness centers and pool areas, and shortened hours in the breakfast and bar areas to allow time for deep cleanings.

Ensuring Staff is Well, Educated, and Equipped to Serve

A well-educated staff is crucial as hotels continue to provide top service to guests. Many have implemented employee sanitation and temperature taking stations to assure that all employees are feeling their best. Plexiglass shields near the check-in desk and throughout the property are a staple at places like the Residence Inn by Marriott-Addison/Quorum Drive, Courtyard by Marriott-Addison/Quorum Drive, and Hyatt House- Dallas/Addison. Housekeeping staff is required to always wear masks and gloves. Lastly, most hotels have implemented a paperless checkout policy to reduce contact with guests.

Touchpoint Sanitation

It is safe to say we have all become hyper-aware of just how many things we touch these days. Keeping this in mind, Addison hotels are constantly deep cleaning all high touch surfaces. Hand sanitizer is placed at the hotel entrances, front desks, public restrooms, elevator landings, meeting rooms, and restaurants and bars. The Holiday Inn Dallas/Addison even has a sanitation bowl at the front desk for guests to place their used room keys. Staff is then required to wipe the keys down after being in the sanitation liquid for re-use.

A New Approach to Meetings

Addison is still a great place to host your meetings. Hotels like the Renaissance Dallas Addison Hotel have taken special precautions to guarantee that groups can gather safely. Some of these steps include sanitizing all meeting rooms and chairs during break times and overnight, sanitizing all the furniture in public spaces throughout the day and overnight. When catering meals all items will be served, taking away the need for communal condiments.
