We may be stuck at home during Easter this year, but your meal doesn’t have to be boring! Several of your favorite Addison restaurants are offering family-sized takeout specials that will let you ditch the pots and pans and spend more time celebrating.

Cantina Laredo

Tex-Mex isn’t the typical tradition for Easter, but this year, we’re all trying something new by staying home for the holiday. The restaurant is offering a takeout special for $45 that includes one pound each of chicken fajita meat, beef fajita meat and queso, and two pounds of both rice and beans. The set also includes pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole, chips, and salsa. Orders may be placed by calling the restaurant.

Chamberlain's Steak and Chop House

Chef Richard Chamberlain is offering a customizable three-course Easter brunch for $39.95 per person. It includes a choice of five starters, five entrees that come with roasted garlic mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus, and a choice of four desserts. The full Easter menu is available on the website. Orders must be made by phone by 5pm on Friday, April 10, and can be picked up through the restaurant’s curbside service.

The lovely neighborhood Italian restaurant is offering a choice between prime filet mignon for $44 per person or rack of lamb for $40 per person. Each order comes with a choice of roasted potatoes and Brussels sprouts, mushroom risotto or farfalle carbonara, plus a choice between a Bosco or Caesar salad. Orders must be placed by calling the restaurant by 4pm – 8pm on Friday, April 10 and can be arranged for pickup between noon – 5pm on Easter Sunday.

The Brazilian-inspired restaurant is offering an Easter special for four that can be prepared at home. The choices of meat are picanha for $60, filet mignon or Atlantic salmon for $70, lamb chops for $80 or ribeye for $95. Each selection comes with spices for grilling along with Brazilian potato salad, steamed asparagus and a choice of mixed greens or Caesar salad. Enhancements and extra servings are available by request. Orders may be placed by calling the restaurant.

Ida Claire’s South of Ordinary meals serve four to six people and come with a few meat options such as honey-glazed Duroc ham or brined turkey breast with pan gravy for $70 or prime rib with creamy horseradish sauce for $90. All selections will be served with sweet potato casserole, spring salad, Southern green bean casserole, Hawaiian Parker House rolls and brioche bread pudding. Additionally, the restaurant is offering dyed hard-boiled eggs for $15, a chocolate chip cookie dough kit for $20, half-price wine and several cocktail kits. Orders must be placed by calling the restaurant and can be arranged for pickup Thursday through Saturday.

The Addison-based catering company is offering an Easter feast for four, including one entrée, one starter, two sides, and bread. Highlights include half-roasted herb prime rib with cheddar horseradish cream and au jus, Akaushi smoked brisket with barbecue sauce and relish, classic deviled eggs, scalloped potatoes au gratin and green bean almandine. Orders must be placed by phone by noon on Friday, April 10. Delivery is available upon request.
