Addison Special Events Return in 2021

Unfortunately in 2020, all major Addison events were either canceled or moved to a virtual format due to COVID-19. At the January 26 City Council Meeting, Special Events Director Jasmine Lee gave Council an update about the planning and safety upgrades for Addison After Dark, Taste Addison, Addison Kaboom Town!, and Addison Oktoberfest in 2021. Some of the added precautions this year will include social distancing, limited capacities, enhanced sanitization, and limited touchpoints.

Addison After Dark themed events will be held on the third Saturday of each month from April through November (except for September). The region's favorite food and music festival Taste Addison returns June 4-5 with headliners Flo Rida and Third Eye Blind. Addison will light up the skies on July 3 with Kaboom Town!  and the most authentic Oktoberfest in North Texas completes the line-up on September 16-19.
