Pizza may have its roots in Italy, but here in America, we’ve adopted it as a national treasure. A piece of that cheesy goodness makes everyone smile. Here in Addison, we’re home to some of the best pizzas in the state of Texas. Here are just a few of our favorites!
Zalat
4980 Belt Line Rd
Suite 180
Dallas, TX 75254

Zalat takes their pizza seriously. They make their dough and even roast Roma tomatoes and add FRESH basil to make their savory pizza sauce. They use the tastiest pizza cheese and cook their pizza old school deck ovens (honestly the best part). One fun fact is that the artisans at Zalat taste test every pie to be sure you can have the same enjoyment either hot, room temp, cold from the fridge, and reheated two days later.
Pie Tap
5100 Belt Line Rd
Ste 796
Dallas, TX 75254

Pie Tap is the perfect place to unwind with a great glass of wine and a pie that is made with the freshest ingredients. Their specialty pizza is made with a dough that rests and rises for 96 hours from start to finish and topped with only the best pepperoni, veggies, and other toppings that you would prefer. If pizza is not your thing, PIe Tap has homemade pasta and hot rotisserie chicken.
Zoli's
14910 Midway Road
Addison, TX 75001
469-754-9654

Zoli’s has won virtually every pizza award in the region, and once we tasted their innovative pies, we understood the hype. Jay Jerrier created Zoli’s to break free from the rules dictated by traditional Neopolitan pizza places. While the Brian Luscher pizza (named after a beloved North Texas chef and featuring sausage ragu and creamy ricotta) gets loads of love, our favorite is the Lady Marmalade, which showcases both mozzarella and ricotta and an out of this world soppressata marmalade.
i Fratelli
5290 Belt Line Road, Suite 105
Dallas, TX 75254
972-490-5000
Credit: i Fratelli Pizza
The team at i Fratelli tells us to ‘never trust a round pizza,’ and their tasty ovals could make us all fans of these unusual looking pizzas. Named after the four Cole brothers who founded it, i Fratelli offers a wide range of pizzas, and provides delivery as well. Their Del Bianco pizza could convince us that pizza is for breakfast, and not just as a leftover. The white sauced pizza is topped with breakfast bacon, fresh spinach, and hand diced Roma tomatoes. The restaurant offers a great gluten-free crust, too!
Andiamo Italian Grill
4151 Belt Line Road
Addison, TX 75001
972-233-1515
Credit: Andiamo
Our favorite vegetarian option is actually a pizetta (a small, personal-sized pizza), and it comes from Andiamo Italian Grill. The Carcciofi features delicate artichokes paired with melted mozzarella, roasted grape tomatoes, and fresh greens. After that description, how could you not want to say to your friends, “Andiamo!" (Which means ‘let’s go’ in Italian.)
Osteria Panevino
5000 Belt Line Road, Suite 300
Dallas, TX 75254
469-677-1536
Credit: Osteria Panevino
Addison Walk is home to one of the prettiest and most intimate pizza destinations in town, Osteria Panevino. While the restaurant offers a full menu of Italian specialties, their Prosciutto di San Danielle pizza will transport you directly to the Italian countryside. In addition to the artisan ham, this complex pizza features caramelized onions, portabella mushrooms, fontina cheese, and a balsamic glaze.
