Belt Line Road 1.5 Update

As part of the Belt Line Road 1.5 beautification project, a new monument sign was recently erected at the intersection of Belt Line Road and Marsh Lane. Staff is now in the process of installing retaining walls in the project area, which runs from Marsh Lane to Midway Road, that will create a cohesive look to the corridor. Due to COVID-19-related shut downs at area plants, the bus shelters and brick pavers have been delayed, but are expected to be delivered in a few weeks. Some of the median landscaping has already been planted and the remainder will be completed once the pavers are in place. The project is currently slated for completion in early Fall.
